Some of the practices based on the Sunnah of Jumu'ah?

Reward of Nafl Salat and fasting for 1 year at every step

If an offer is found that

"Every step of the year is a year of supererogatory fasting, and the reward of one year of supererogatory prayers will be written in our record."

Would anyone miss it? Certainly not!

If one participates in the Jumu'ah prayers through 5 deeds on the day of Jumu'ah, Allah Ta'ala bestows on each of his servants the reward of one year of Nafl fasting and one year of Nafl Salat step by step. Subhanallah !!!

That is, if the distance from one's home to the mosque is 100 steps, then if one does these five deeds, he will get the reward of 100 years of nafl fasting and 100 years of nafl salat.

There are five things to do:

1. Take a bath

2. Come to the mosque first

3. Come to the mosque on foot

4. Sitting next to the Imam.

5. Listening to the sermon attentively without talking nonsense.

Narrated Aws Ibn Aws As-Saqbafi: He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say:

The person who takes a bath on the day of Jumu'ah and (also) takes a bath, wakes up in the morning and wakes up (ready to go to the mosque in the morning and before), does not go to the mosque for Jumu'ah but walks to the mosque And he will sit next to the Imam and listen to the sermon without saying anything nonsense, every step of his (going to the mosque) will be considered as Sunnah and in return for every step he will get the reward of fasting for one year and praying all night (equally).

(The standard of Hadith is Sahih. Abu Dawood 345 -)

May Allah grant us the tawfiq to get this reward in every Jumu'ah. Amen.

Female members of our family, who can not take part in Friday prayers. For them, the scholars advise them to encourage and motivate the men of the house to do these deeds. By cooperating with men in these good deeds, insha'Allah, women will also be able to share in this reward.

Some more Sunnah-supported practices on Friday

- Take a bath

- Recitation of Surah Sajdah and Surah Dahr / Insan in Fajr Fard Salat

- Dress well

- Using perfume

- Going to the mosque first

- Recitation of Surah Al-Kahf (any time from sunset on Thursday to before sunset on Friday)

- Going to the mosque for Friday prayers and praying at least two rak'ats

- Praying between two sermons. At this time the prayer is accepted. Also make dua as much as possible throughout the day

- Reading more and more darood

- Listening to the sermon attentively, not speaking during the sermon or doing any useless work. Being busy on mobile phone and even running the donation box of the mosque at this time is useless. Even if someone is forbidden to speak during the sermon, it is considered as a useless act. And if you do useless things during the sermon, it will ruin the Friday. Therefore, one should refrain from all activities except listening to the sermon. The donation box of the mosque cannot be run at this time. The donation box can be run before the sermon or after the prayer.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

The person who comes to the Jumu'ah prayer after performing the ablution properly, listens to the khutbah silently and attentively, is forgiven for the next Jumu'ah and for an additional three days. And the person who (unnecessarily) touched the gravel did useless, void, hateful and reprehensible deeds.

(Sahih Muslim 173)

Narrated from Abu Hurairah

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: On the day of Jumu'ah, when you will say to the worshiper next to you to be silent, while the Imam is giving the khutbah, then you have said a nonsense.

(Bukhari 934)

(May Allah grant us the tawfiq to refrain from all useless deeds during Jumu'ah. Amen)
