Here are some guidelines for reciting the Qur'an in a melodious voice and 10 ways to get rid of the ‘riya’ of the voice
Question: If a person can recite the Qur'an in a beautiful voice, then how can he use this voice in a free manner? Because the period in which riya is created becomes shirk and all its thawab is nullified.
Answer:
Undoubtedly, a beautiful voice is a wonderful blessing of Allah. And if one is able to recite the Qur'an in a melodious voice using this blessing given by Allah, then what could be better than this? However, in this case, there is a big risk. Then, while reciting this beautiful voice, the feeling of getting praise and applause from the people can be awakened. And whenever Riya or the desire to be praised by a person rises in his heart, if he does not get out of it immediately, this blessing can become a cause of anger and destruction for him. God forgive. The following hadith speaks of that horror:
On the authority of Abu Huraira, may God be pleased with him, he said: Listen to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: Because he said that there was no place for him, then he ordered him to look at his face until he fell into the fire. The man of knowledge and knowledge and recitation of the Qur'an is a blessing in disguise. His face is even burning in the fire
Abu Hurairah. Narrated from, he said, I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say,
“The first person to be judged on the Day of Resurrection is the person who was martyred. He will be presented and Allah will inform him of his blessings. And he will be able to recognize all the blessings towards him. Then God will tell him what you have done? He will say, I fought in your way, I was martyred in the end.
Allah will say: “You have lied, you have fought. People will call you a hero for this purpose. And that has been said. ”
Then he will be instructed and he will be dragged upside down and thrown into Hell.
Then the person will be judged who has acquired knowledge (religious knowledge) himself and has taught others and has recited the Qur'an. He will be produced. GOD will remind him of His blessings. He will admit. Ask him out well if he is no longer absorbed in the connection. He will say that I have acquired knowledge, taught others and recited the Qur'an for you.
God will say, "You have lied." You have acquired knowledge so that people will call you wise. You have recited the Qur'an with the intention that people will call you a doer. And that has been said.
Then he will be instructed to throw him upside down in Hell. "(Sahih Muslim)
However, the following are 10 ways to keep the heart free from hypocrisy and to avoid fitna if you are blessed to recite the Qur'an in a beautiful voice:
61. During the recitation, the heart will be directed towards Allah.
◈ 2) Then at the beginning of the recitation, Auzubillahiminash will recite Rajim of Shaytbani (I seek refuge in Allah from the expelled Satan). So that Satan cannot create in his mind any bad thoughts and attitude of getting praise from people.
◈ 3) Intend to get thawab from Allah by recitation.
◈ 4) During the recitation, keep humility, humility and taqwa (fear) towards Allah in the heart.
◈ 5) The medium of recitation of the Qur'an will expect guidance.
◈ 6) Focus on understanding the meaning of the Qur'an.
◈ 6) Intend to act according to the guidelines of the Qur'an.
◈ 6) At the same time, he will be grateful to Allah for giving him this beautiful voice.
◈ 9) Even then, if the attitude of hypocrisy or praise of man is awakened in his mind, then he will immediately come back from that thought and seek refuge with Allah for the evil inclinations of Satan and the mind.
Remember, beautiful voices are often the cause of fitna. Especially the risk of falling into the temptation of the opposite sex is strong. Therefore, it is important to be careful in this regard keeping the fear of Allah in mind.
◈ 10) In addition, Riya will recite the following dua for liberation:
O Allah, I seek refuge in You, that I may associate partners with You, and that I may know, and I ask forgiveness for what you do not know.
Pronunciation:
"Allahumma inni aujubika an ushrika bika wa ana alam."
Wa astagfiruka lima la alam. "
Meaning:
"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowingly associating partners with Allah, and I seek forgiveness from You for shirk that has taken place unknowingly."
[Sahih Adabul Mufrad H / 617, page 250, Sahihut Targib wat Tarhib H / 38 Sheikh Albani said, its sanad Hasan Ligairihi-Abu Musa Ra. To be described. Also muhaddith albani rah. In his famous Sahihul Jame, he has mentioned the hadith narrated in almost similar words as Sahih. Note: Sahihul Jame H / 3631-Abu Bakr. Described to be]
The commentator on Al-Adabul Mufrad said,
The purpose here is ‘unknowingly: shirk’, an act done to show off and to be appreciated by people. All these vile thoughts will not go away from man until he is able to recognize himself. ” (Book: Fazlullah Al-Samad in Tawdeeh Al-Adab Al-Mufrid 2/179)
Riea in the true sense is a very subtle and secret problem- which enters the human heart with great reverence. That is why the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) called it ﺃﺧْﻔﻰ ﻣﻣ ﺩﺩﺑ
The period with which such thoughts are combined will be considered as null and void in the court of Allah. Rather, it is a far cry to get its reward, but it will turn into shirk asghar (minor shirk). May Allah protect us. Amen.
